The Central region encompasses the area between the cities of Summerside and Charlottetown. 

Our mandate is to assist, support, and encourage citizens to live healthy lifestyles through recreational and sport physical activity opportunities.We work with communities & organizations to encourage and offer such programs.

• Support volunteer organizations that offer sport, recreation and healthy living opportunities within rural PEI;

• Offer various programs in rural communities that have no paid recreation leadership;

• Promote existing programs to a wider audience; and

• Determine gaps in services and work with community members to fill those gaps.
